EzCraft Gaming's Server and Forum Rules!
These are the rules that are expected to be followed by all players using any of our gaming servers, VoIP chat and forums.
1. Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) Bans & Game Bans
Any VAC or game ban must be over ten (10) year old.
Groups caught harboring hackers or ban evaders will be banned in whole. Do NOT play with known cheaters.
EzCraft Gaming does not give any exceptions to this rule.
2. Racism, Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Bigotry
EzCraft Gaming has zero-tolerance for any form of racism, discrimination, sexual harassment or bigotry on our servers.
Do not type it, do not write or draw it on a sign, and do not say in VoIP chat.
3. Personal Attacks & Personal Information
EzCraft Gaming has zero-tolerance for the doxing or sharing of information of other players. This can include:
Sharing pictures of another player or their family without their permission.
Referring to another player by their real-life (IRL) name without their permission (assuming it is not publicly displayed on their gaming profiles).
Sharing another player's personal information such as their name, age, location, employment, social media profiles, or these same things about a family member of a player.
EzCraft Gaming has zero-tolerance for personal attacks directed at another player that involve their life outside of the game. We are all here to have fun and at the end of the day it is just a game. Please treat it like such.
EzCraft Gaming has zero-tolerance for any harassment directed at a player outside of the game. We love talking shit. However, this banter should be left in the game.
4. Hacker Reports & Hackusations
Do not cry hacks in any public forum. This greatly reduces our chances of catching the accused.
Do not spam any channel with "admin!" in VoIP. You will be muted or banned.
All reports should be sent through our Report Form. This will alert all of the online admins allowing us to look into it.
5. Disrespecting Staff & Players
Just because you are hiding behind your monitor does not mean you get to leave your morals at the login screen. Don't be a piece of garbage and try be a decent human being.
If your friend broke the rules and was punished for it, don't try to argue with an admin about our decision.
6. Playing as an Admin
Aside from community events, admins on EzCraft Gaming's servers do not participate in normal game play on their admin accounts. Instead, we ask that admins use an alternate account to experience the full range of our servers.
This is done by creating a new account of Steam and Family Sharing the games.
7. Admins are here to help
First and foremost, admins are here to maintain the context of the servers and help players.
This includes answering questions, engaging with players in positive ways, removing toxic players / hackers, helping out fresh spawns, and running community events.
8. Ban Evasion
Players caught circumventing a ban will have their new account(s) banned unless the original ban is reversed.
9. Hacker/Banned Player Association
If a player is game banned or banned from EzCraft Gaming servers for any reason they are not allowed to evade that ban and play again on a new account. When we catch players doing this they will be banned again for Ban Evasion. Associating with these players on a new account, can and often will result in a ban for individuals or an entire team, depending on the circumstances. We do not expect people to know the complete history of every individual they play with at any point. However, when clear and indisputable proof of players helping others evade is available to admins, the involved player(s) will face a ban from all EzCraft Gaming servers as well.
10. Glitching
A lot of EzCraft Gaming's servers are still very much in development and as such we ask you do not use such glitches that find their way into the game.
Certain exceptions to this rule may be made at the admins discretion.
11. Admin Abuse
We take pride in the vetting of our staff, however mistakes do happen.
When suspicions of abuse arise we want to address them in a productive manner.
If you suspect admin abuse, please contact a member of our Leadership team via Steam or email us directly at epiczenon@ezcraft.org.
All reports of abuse are kept strictly confidential regardless of outcome.
All server logs containing admin commands will be kept on file for 90 days.
